Students are mainly admitted to Nursery through a well-established admission process. Admission to higher classes is limited and subject to seat availability. The entry level into the school is determined by the age criteria prescribed by the CBSE. All admissions are granted purely on a merit basis.

Age Criteria for Admission

The following age criteria for admission has been stipulated as on 31st July of the year of admission as per norms:

• LKG: 4 years +
• UKG: 5 years +
• Class 1st: 6 years +

School Admission Procedure

A parent or guardian of a new student seeking admission for classes P.G. to IX must note that the following attachments are necessary at the time of registration.

• Evidence of passing the last class or promotion to the present class.
• Original Transfer Certificate from the previous school, which should be a recognized school, affiliated to the All India Board or State Board of Education. Transfer Certificates must be signed by DEO if the child is transferred from other states.
• A medical certificate from a qualified registered doctor showing the record of vaccination/immunization, as well as any particular ailment or health condition the school ought to know.
• 4 passport size photographs.
• Proof of residence of the child (Copy of Ration Card / Voter's ID / Passport).
• In case the child is adopted, parents must produce an attested copy of the adoption certificate issued by the competent authority.
• In case of divorce/separation, the parent admitting the child must produce a copy of the custody certificate issued by the competent law officer.

• The Registration Form (available in the School Office) must be duly filled and returned to the Admission Department on or before the due date along with attested photocopies of Class-IX & Class-X mark sheets.
• If a candidate does not receive the Class-X Mark Sheet from the Board, a provisional Mark Sheet from the school may be submitted along with the registration form. Failure to submit completed registration forms with the Board Mark Sheet by the due date will result in non-consideration for admission.
• Based on the marks obtained in Class-IX & Class-X Board Examinations, a list of selected candidates for Class-XI admission will be displayed on the notice board.

• Attested photocopy of the Mark Sheet from the Board/School.
• Attested photocopy of Passing & Migration Certificates from the Board/School.
• 4 passport size photographs.
• Attested photocopy of the Certificate of School-Based Evaluation for students coming from CBSE-affiliated foreign schools.
• Conduct and Character Certificate from the school last attended.
• Selected candidates must complete all admission formalities and deposit the fee within 7 days, failing which admission claim will be forfeited.
• If some selected candidates do not take admission, a second list will be published.

Withdrawal / Leaving Certificate

• Every application for a Leaving Certificate shall be made in writing by the parents/guardian on the prescribed form.
• Leaving Certificate will not be issued until all the fees are paid.
• A student leaving in mid-session must pay the fee for the whole session.

Registration for admission can be made by obtaining the school prospectus containing the admission form from the Principal. The Eden School, Adalhat, Mirzapur (U.P.), Pincode-231302, on payment of Rs. 300.00.
